Scientific name : Schizophyllum commune
This mushroom also known as ‘Lena Pahuru’ (ලේන පහුරු) in some areas. ‘Lena Hathu’ is also a widely distributed mushroom all over the country. It is a very delicious mushroom. It is usually growing on freshly cut down tree trunks and decomposing tree trunks under moist conditions.
